Automatic Parking Milan Historic Centre

The project involved the complete restoration of an automated parking facility located in Milan, comprising 80 underground parking spaces. The intervention focused primarily on the electrical and software components, involving the mechanical components of the system only to a limited extent, with the aim of restoring the system to full operational autonomy. All electrical components were replaced with state-of-the-art devices, so as to ensure greater reliability and easier availability of spare parts on the market. The previously installed systems were in fact obsolete, severely outdated, and largely no longer functional. Moreover, due to the obsolescence of the existing equipment, it was not possible to make modifications or updates to the system management software. The parking management software was therefore developed entirely from scratch. The new system has significantly improved the facility's operational speed and enabled the implementation of features requested by the end user that were previously not achievable. Thanks to the new software, it was also possible to introduce a remote supervision system, allowing technicians to connect to the facility remotely. This solution enables rapid intervention in resolving any minor stoppages, optimizing response times and minimizing system downtime. The system also provides technical support during maintenance activities and diagnostic operations, enabling faster and more effective analysis of any operational anomalies. At the same time, an overhaul of the main mechanical components subject to wear, such as wheels and bearings, was carried out. The entire sensor system of the facility was also updated, with particular attention to the access area. State-of-the-art safety sensors and laser scanners were installed, ensuring high safety standards for both people and vehicles.

Automatic Parking Milan

The intervention involved both the electrical and mechanical sections of the system, with the aim of bringing the structure back to current technological and safety standards. Regarding the electrical section, all components were replaced with state-of-the-art devices, readily available on the market. The previously installed systems were in fact obsolete, severely outdated, and largely no longer functional. At the same time, a thorough overhaul of the mechanical section was carried out, which exhibited widespread and severe corrosion. The interventions performed restored the full efficiency and reliability of the system's mechanical structures. During the restoration, the parking management software was also developed entirely from scratch. The previous system was too outdated to be integrated with current technologies. The new software has significantly improved the system's operational speed and enabled the implementation of features requested by the end user that were previously not achievable. The access area was also upgraded with information and user-assistance technologies, designed to guide the driver during vehicle entry and positioning operations. At the same time, the field sensor systems were overhauled and updated, ensuring high safety standards for both people and vehicles. Automated Parking Varese

Partial restoration of an automated parking facility located in Varese, comprising 60 underground parking spaces. The revamping intervention involved several components of the system, both from a mechanical and electrical standpoint, with the primary objective of restoring adequate safety standards in compliance with current regulations and returning the system to fully automatic and efficient operation. During the course of the work, numerous components that had become outdated or damaged due to corrosion and prolonged use of the system over time were replaced. In particular, several mechanical parts compromised by wear and the presence of rust were overhauled and replaced, thereby restoring the operational reliability of the structures and handling systems. At the same time, an overhaul of the electrical panel was carried out, within which some damaged or obsolete components were replaced with state-of-the-art devices that are more reliable and readily available on the market. This upgrade contributed to improving the stability and safety of the entire system control apparatus. A video surveillance and remote assistance system was also integrated, allowing technicians to connect to the facility remotely. This solution enables diagnostic activities to be carried out more quickly and effectively, facilitating the identification of any anomalies and, in many cases, allowing the system to be restored without the need for immediate on-site intervention. A further intervention of great significance concerned the system management software, which was completely rebuilt from scratch. The new software system has significantly improved operational speed during the vehicle storage and retrieval phases, making the system's operation smoother and more efficient. This upgrade has also contributed to improving the overall user experience, increasing the comfort and ease of use of the automated parking facility.
